Terms of service

Last updated: 28 October 2026

1. Scope

These terms govern your use of clearwing.app and, once it opens, of the Clearwing cloud service, published by Talvin Ackbaraly EI (see the legal notice). The self-hosted edition is governed by its AGPL-3.0 license, not by these terms.

2. A service in development

Clearwing is not open to customers yet, and nothing is sold today. Any early access is free, provided as is, and may change or stop at any time.

3. Accounts

The service is for businesses only. You must give accurate information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for what is done with your account and by your team.

4. Your data

You keep ownership of the data you bring to Clearwing and remain its controller. We process it only to provide the service, under our data processing agreement (DPA), which forms part of these terms. Where the law requires it, you must inform your visitors and collect their consent.

5. Ad platforms

By connecting an ad account, you allow Clearwing to read its data and to send it the conversions and changes you set up. You must follow each platform’s terms. You can disconnect an account at any time.

6. Acceptable use

You may not use Clearwing to break the law, to process sensitive data such as health data, to identify anonymous visitors, or to disrupt the service or other customers.

7. Intellectual property

Clearwing’s source code is licensed under the AGPL-3.0. That license does not cover the Clearwing name and logo, which you may not use without our written permission.

8. Liability

As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect damage, such as lost revenue or lost data, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the previous 12 months.

9. Closing an account

You can close your account at any time. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms. After closure, your data is deleted as our privacy policy describes.

10. Changes

We will post any change on this page. Account users will be told by email at least 30 days before a material change applies.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by French law, and French courts have jurisdiction.
